After five weeks of increases, the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate is holding at 6.67% this week.

For buyers in Hickory, NC and the Catawba County area, steady rates combined with more homes on the market may create something we haven’t seen as much of in recent years — more choices, less competition, and more room to negotiate. 🙌
